Meet Our Pastor, Mario Augustave
On January 28, 2006, the Mount Zion Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hamden, Connecticut welcomed Pastor Mario Augustave, with spirit-filled enthusiasm Pastor Augustave came to Mount Zion from the Coney Island SDA Church in Brooklyn, New York, where he served from 2000 to 2005.
He was born on the Island of Haiti and immigrated to the United States of America during his teenage years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in theology and education, and a minor in history, from Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama. In 1988 Pastor Augustave earned the Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan.

About Seventh-day Adventists

salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.
